Cassidy Tire and Service

Very petty staff. I have a new tire already installed on a rim, I just needed a strong enough air compressor to seal the bead to the rim. They have let me use there air compressor in the past, twice, with no issue. The staff member said "oh sorry we don't do that, we don't even do motorcycle tires" I did not have a motorcycle tire. However, I thought to myself, this is a tire shop..... I already did the work in changing the tire myself, they couldn't do me a solid and let me use there air compressor for one second to seal the bead. I even offered to pay, they still said no. I always state, I hold full responsibility if I damage my tire. I went to the mom and pop shop down the road and they were more than happy to help me out. That shop understood that I wasn't trying to hold them accountable, I just wanted my tire inflated. For this shop to deny the most simplest request, I would hate to see how they treat the folks with automobiles. The hospitality is non existent here.

Jovan did an amazing job servicing my 2004 Toyota Avalon for a nail in my tire. He wasted no time and all my tire needed was a patch, no need for a replacement tire. I highly recommend Cassidy Tire & Service for their punctuality and fantastic customer service. I was not left waiting for hours and Jovan was upfront about pricing. This was such a great option for my salary.

My go-to place for routine maintenance, such as oil changes and tires. Been using them for years now. Service is quick, friendly enough, and what I really like is their honesty. On more than one occasion, they told me I did not need a particular service or they found a less expensive way to repair or service my car. This time was similar. Asked for a tire rotation along with my oil change and they told me they checked the tires and they were wearing evenly so no need to rotate them. Not too many places like that in Chicago-land (or anywhere).

INSANE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! OUT TO GET YOUR MONEY EVEN IF IT MEANS TAKING YOUR SPARE TO TRY TO GET THAT SALE! experienced a pothole incident which resulted in a dented rim.I brought my vehicle to the Diversey location as it was the closest available shop. I was informed that an estimate could not be provided immediately and that my car would need to remain there until it could be assessed, understandable. Later that afternoon, I received a quote for the repair. Due to the estimated turnaround time of up to a week, I decided not to proceed and instead planned to take the vehicle to my regular mechanic closer to my home, who could complete the work within two days. I contacted the shop and asked if my spare tire could be installed so I could safely drive the distance to my mechanic. I was then informed over the phone that my vehicle did not come a spare tire. I was immediately surprised by this, as I know for a fact that my car DID include a spare tire and I was familiar with its exact location. When I arrived to retrieve my vehicle, I raised the question again. A mechanic showed me the compartment and stated that only a round metal component was present and that there was no spare

Had a great experience today at Cassidy. Went in with an appointment for a service I thought my car needed. They offered to check things before providing the service to see if it was really even necessary, and it wasn’t. Really appreciated their transparency even though it no meant no business from me that day! Will definitely be back !
